Collegiate Matric Dance 2011 Pre- Party

The Collegiate Matric Dance was held on the 4th February. I made a dress for a beautiful girl, Thushya. It was a colourful take on a dress I did for the Weekend Post Bridal Fair last year. There's layers of frilled Chiffon ascending from a light shade of peach to a dark salmon corset style bodice. Gold Chinese Crystals were sprinkled on the frills, which complimented the one-shoulder golden strap. Large buttons added a nice detail to the back of the dress. Thushya & her friends had a pre-party at her parent's house, where my talented cousin, Melissa, did the photoshoot. I think the teens had lots of fun posing with different props and a funky backdrop.
